Island Collection – Hibiscus
As a treat to our CSG Members, we included one of this series of projects in Issue 72 of Stitch That, the CSG magazine (Go to Join us) with colour pictures of the rest of the designs. These pretty miniature projects were inspired by our visit to Bermuda -We had been invited by the Bermuda Guild of Stitchery, me to teach and Bill, my husband to keep my company.
The chart and instructions for Hibiscus were included in Issue 72 of our magazine and we added pictures of the others in the series and I know how popular they have been! The joy of stitching these little projects is that they are worked using Stef Francis hand painted twelve ply silk thread with stranded cotton (floss) added for the detail. The other clever bit is that the packs include the little faux oak picture frame and die-cut mount (mat) so you can complete the stitching and frame the project in a day!
You can find (from left to right) Wild Rosemary, Rain Forest, Azure Ocean, Morning Glory (below) Sea Shell, and, of course, Hibiscus in our online shop
