Hello again,
I am sorry there has been such a long gap since my last entry to my Journal. Sometimes the only thing you can do is do it rather than write about doing it! Stitch That Issue 87 has gone to be printed so not long now. It is 48 pages this time so lots to look forward to…..I will publish some pictures from this issue shortly.
Have posted out the winners of the Prize Draw on the web site so if you are any of the following, keep an eye on the post.
Janet Thomas – Mid Glam
Gemma Hughes -Rotherham
Mary Boggan- Ireland
Barbara Stone – Bristol
Maria Violi – Italy
Sue Brown Co Durham

The Flowery Mead
Yesterday, Paul from Viewpoint was here at Pinks Barn taking photographs for our next copy of Stitch That and we took a new photograph of The Flowery Mead. I had taken a happy snap of the worked piece but Paul sorted me out yesterday. What an improvement……
I will add some pictures from Stitch That that very shortly – I think it is a very pretty issue. Now I must get packed up for my TV day tomorrow – it is about a three hour drive and I need to have my wits about me that day…. Early night tonight
Bless you Thank you

I am back up to the Create and Craft TV studios in Peterborough on Wednesday for another couple of hours Cross Stitch with Jane Greenoff. With any luck, I am going to be on Freeview for both programmes which go out live. I am hoping to show how to cut Hardanger embroidery. See you then
Loved the shows as usual Jane. Hope there will be more in the future.

Hi All,
Thank you for all your messages of support and threats on the thief. Someone’s ears must be burning….
One of most active members, Jane Herbert is co-ordinating a replacement book for me, hopefully in time for Ali Pali. She has allowed me to print her email address which is herbert-jane@tiscali.co.uk
If you would like to contribute to the stitching please give her a shout – I can provide materials etc.
I must admit to coming the closest ever to calling it a day on Friday night but I have calmed down a bit now -
I am so sorry that your work has been stolen. I would be happy to contribute to the replacement. Val

I have been up at the Festival of Quilts and cannot believe it!
Someone has taken my worked model of the Flower Book! The whole thing…….All those hours of work…………
First time I have burst in to tears at a show………………Who ever you are – you cannot even imagine the punishments I have thought up over the past few hours – 100s of hours of stitching and caring and you just helped yourself – What must it be like to be the person you are…………….
Dear Jane What a tragedy. I would have been happy to loan you my copy, but I used a finer linen ...
